Set candles in metal holders on a non- flammable surface such as a plate as an added protection against dripping or accidentally bumping them over. If stranded in a car, use a hub cap or wheel cover. In a confined area insure there is sufficient ventilation. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish flame when candle has burned to 1/4 inch from top of holder otherwise the wax will melt in the holder and may overflow.
