This is a shorter bar - 6 feet total (standard is 7 feet) however it fits my rack perfectly. My rack is pretty standard at 49inches and the inner part of this bar (shaft length) is 51.5 inches. So the sleeve length is a little shorter, but not a problem - it holds a lot. One concern is this bar only weighs 30lbs (standard is 45) so you need to add more weight to match what you can do at the gym. But with limited garage space this 6 foot bar fits my rack and is perfect.

Exactly what I was looking for

This fits in a standard rack and a great everyday barbell if you have a narrow space to work in. I'd ordered a few shorter bars that I had to return as didn't fit on rack (oops). There was a greasy covering on some parts so recommend cleaning up before use. Happy with $140 price and should last me a while. There are definitely better bars out there but will cost extra $100 if you want a equally rackable shorter bar.
