I always use bone meal when preparing planters . The bone meal provide nutrients for bloom and strong roots,just follow the directions. Its A Good First Nutrient To Buy

Its a decently sized bag of bone meal for the price, and its a great source of calcium, for plants. A little A.I questions can get you a schedule on how much to apply, when to apply it, and so on, but the stuff is good. This product helps with calcium deficiencies which stops yellowing of leaves, after its broken down, then its absorbed by the plant. Stopping any future yellowing.
