Rite in the Rain 17 EDC 3.69" Closed All-Weather Machined Portage Pen

I've been using this pen along with their notepad on camping and hiking trips, and it's become a reliable little companion. It's compact enough to pocket easily and comfortable to write with when extended. The pressurized ink performs way better than any normal pen out in the wild. It keeps going even when the paper's damp or I'm juggling gear. I'm pretty clumsy and often end up spilling stuff or wiping sweaty hands on whatever flat surface is nearby. This pen doesn't flinch. It's sturdy and doesn't leak, and just writes when I need it to, which I appreciate way more than I expected. It's pricier than a disposable pen, so you're paying more upfront. But for how often it actually works outdoors, I think it's worth it.
