I love the fact that it's easy to change modes with the Connect Clip and that it is small and easily portable. I got this because the Samsung tablet that I have doesn't output sound to my hearing aids even when the hearing aids are paired with the tablet. I have yet to use it as an external mic or as a remote control. I prefer using the Oticon app to adjust the levels of my hearing aids because I can adjust them individually instead of altogether
