Convenient size
We already have the 8 quart, and this 6 quart is for our son. Thinking the 6 quart might be overall smaller suitable for a condo, it is pretty well the same footprint. The baskets being each 3 quarts have the same surface area but lower in height. This makes good sense, as the top half of our 4 qt basket are virtually always empty, because we avoid stacked cooking. We loved the total independent basket cooking feature.
