    Takes a little practice but after you get it down it works extremely well. I cooked breakfast for 6 people in a 12 inch cast iron skillet on it. Potatoes eggs and meat hash. If you keep feeding the stove it will remain hot enough to do anything. The heavy skillet was steady on the stove. Keep a lot of small kindling around you to feed the fire. The stove burns twigs fast. You will be surprised how much you will got through.

    I love this stove! I don't back pack so I wasn't concerned with some other reviews I've read calling it too heavy.This stove is just a little larger that some of the similar looking stoves available.It comes with a nice pouch to store it in.I did notice that some of the edges are a little sharp (from the stamping process).I smoothed the edges with the wire wheel on my bench grinder.It boiled water in only 2 or 3 minutes. I used a stainless steel canteen cup about 3/4 full.

    as with anything from all you guys- its incredible- just love it- cant wait to use is- we have 2 more months of work (seasonal) then we can start our living! this will be a big part of it without a doubt- thank you so much- next we will get a fire starter love and light linda and nano
