Good, less good, and intolerable: Good 1. The headphones are attractive. The metal earcups are very solid. 2. Seems durable, though key structural pieces in the headband seem to be plastic. 3. Comfortable fit for children and smaller adults. 4. Padded carrying case is surprising well made and very protective. 5. Bluetooth pairing works well. 6. Battery life is reasonable—at least 2.5 hours. 7. Included cables for charging and wired connection are reasonably solid. Less good 1. I bought the headphones for my 5 year old. I wanted headphones with a volume limiter, but, as noted in some other reviews, the volume is fairly low, making use of the phones difficult on most plane flights—a shame, given that such use was a major reason I purchased the phones. It would be great if there was an option to set the limiter a bit higher. 2. Sound quality is mediocre. It is muffled, with limited bass, and it severely lacks dynamic range. I expect some compromise in an inexpensive bluetooth headphone compared with a wired set, but the clarity of these phones is inferior to my $20 bluetooth earbuds. 3. Limited portability. The earcups pivot so the headphones fit flat in the carrying case, but these are not headphones you can fold and fit in a coat pocket. Intolerable Based on the above, I would give the headphones three stars. I subtract one and am tempted to subtract two because of the manufacturer's offer of a free gift for positive reviews (see photo). I realize there are other companies that do the same, but it is nonetheless unscrupulous. What results is a system that penalizes honest sellers. If product reviews are to have any value, sellers that engage in such practices should be banned from the website.
