Great Sound Upgrade for Movies and Music

Sounds pretty good overall. I mainly use it for movies, and the sound really makes a difference compared to the TV speakers—dialogue is clearer and the bass adds some depth without being too heavy. Music playback is also solid. It's not super high-end, but definitely enjoyable for everyday listening. Setup was easy and it fits nicely under the TV without taking up much space. For the price, I'd say it's a good upgrade and worth it.

This thing is WEAK.

I bought this unit knowing it wasn't going to be super hi-fi, but was still disappointed. I just wanted some external speakers that were better than my older tv's. The tv speakers crackle a bit once they get turned up so they can be heard well in a larger room. I wasn't expecting super bass and movie theater quality, but this unit didn't even hit anywhere near that. You basically have to sit right in front of it and turn the volume all the way up just to hear it AT ALL. I was really disappointed. The sound quality is good, but you have to strain to hear it because the volume level is very low. I have small portable bluetooth speakers that do better than this unit.
