This loofah is a good, medium size – not too big and cumbersome, and not so small that it feels ineffective. It lathers up incredibly well with just a small amount of body wash, creating lots of rich suds that make you feel thoroughly clean. I also appreciate the clean, neutral smell of the loofah itself. In terms of exfoliation, it's on the lighter side. Don't expect an intense, deep scrub. However, it provides a very gentle exfoliation that's perfectly adequate for daily use, especially considering the amazing price point. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean without any irritation. I placed a delivery order to walmart, and accidentally clicked on the men's sponge, versus the women's sponge. I was surprised to find that the one design for men is actually softer than the one that they sell for women. I love the color, and it lathers up great! I will be buying the men's sponges in the future.
