Hero Cosmetics Mighty Shield™ Liquid Patch Invisible Blemish Protectant, 10 ml Tube

Let me be VERY clear! I haven’t tried to put makeup on over this as it’s advertised because I use these kinds of items as I sleep so I cannot speak to that. However, I will tell you that my HG item from Kiehl’s was discontinued and I have been looking for something for over a year and I am VERY picky about what I put on my sensitive skin. I also moved from an amazing place with water that I call “The Fountain of Youth” to a new place out of state that has water I call “Ghetto Water.” So my skin is in the worst shape of my life! Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way and set the scene, I use this for smaller and larger in space (for the big single breakouts that have their own pulse, I use the Hero Acne Patches with the “darts” that pierce the blemish) breakouts. I’ve really been fighting blackheads and HUGE pores that I haven’t had to deal with since my teen years (I’m 52 and post-menopausal so my hormones are all over the place and acne has returned with a vengeance). I’d tried everything from beauty products “guaranteed to work” to only natural products. Nothing worked. I thought when I bought this it would be a topical serum that dissolved into the skin. This is more of a “mini-mask” that peels away. The corners of my chin are trouble areas, as well as, my nose and small parts of my cheeks. I put an extra layer on all of these places. Sometimes I leave it on all night and sometimes I’ll do a quick turnaround for an event later in the day or evening. This product is amazing!!! Even a two hour quick set and peel takes care of formed and forming breakouts in those trouble areas!! And what it does to my nose is nothing short of a skin miracle! My skin doesn’t get dry (which is really weird because the first active ingredient is alcohol) but it clears the blemished 90-100% the first time I use it and it leaves my skin ready for cleansing (if it’s put on the night before) or peeling if it’s a few hours before an event. Also, it doesn’t hurt when it’s peeled off (the first time I was in a hurry and didn’t pay attention as I put it on by my nose and it got up a little higher into my nose and got some of my nose hairs. If you’ve ever done that you know what comes next LOL! But nope! It all came off and the inside of my nose did not feel like it was getting waxed! It was awesome! The only advice I would give them is to put it in a much larger tube and market it as a mask!!!! It’s that good! So since it’s my new HG for acne I’m sure it will be discontinued- isn’t that always what happens when we find something we love LOL? I am a huge fan of the brand and this product is as awesome as its brothers and sisters!
