This blender was definitely an upgrade. It has handled everything I've tried to blend with it. It even works well with tough things like big chunks of ice or ginger. The preset buttons work for each recommendation and it's way better than my old blender. Would recommend.

Like the measuring cap, and very quiet operation

This is surprisingly quiet, even when crushing ice. The measuring cup in the cap is a nice addition. I use that and the tamper constantly. I wish I had one of those with past blenders!
