These have a good weight to them that adds to your eating experience. My autistic daughter loves these flatware. They are agreeable to her needs. They are pretty and I would definitely use these for everyday meals as well as parties. If an event is somewhat formal, these might be ok, but they'd be great for a bunch of different types of events. The silver on them is shiny and durable.
