Premier Protein Almond Milk Shake, Coffee, 20g Protein, 11 Fl Oz, 4 Ct

I have been searching for a protein shake I can drink. I've always ran into two problems- dairy and texture. There are protein and nutritional shakes everywhere, but the majority of them have a milk product. As someone with a dairy allergy that's a no go. I've tried a few different vegan powders, and pre-mixed shakes. Although these shakes meet the no dairy requirement the texture puts me off; they always seem to be gritty. I've never been able to tough it out long enough to use a whole canister, or drink a whole case. I was half heartedly browsing for another shake or powder I could try when I stumbled on Premier Protein with almond milk, and I purchased the 4 pack. I had one for breakfast and I was not disappointed! The texture was so smooth- no grit at all. The shake is 11 oz, and it contains 20 g protein, 5g sugar, and 150 calories. This makes it great if you need protein, but you don't have the appetite to consume a lot. It is low calories for the amount of protein you get, so it is great for a low calorie diet. The only flavor I have tried so far is the coffee. It reminded me a little of one of those frappé drinks I loved before I developed my allergy. The flavor isn't as strong as a frappe or iced coffee would be, but the taste is there. It is sweet without being overly sweet. It even gives you a boost of caffiene to start your morning. Just make sure they are cold for the best taste. The only thing I would change is price. It comes to around $2.11 for an 11 oz shake, and it feels a little high(then again, nearly everything is these days). However, price still isn't a deal breaker for me, because everything else is exactly what I've been looking for. Plus, I don't have to break out the blender, it's so convenient to just grab and go! If you struggle meeting daily protein goals, and want a dairy free option this is a great shake to try!

I love the chocolate almond milk premier protein shake it's my favorite! The dairy premier protein are ok but cows milk usually gives me the ick. I even cook with almond milk. This a a solid flavor for a protein shake and also I have not yet had a tiny chunk in the almond milk shakes- yet in the regular premier protein shakes I've had tiny chunks intermittently with various flavors. As far as the protein shakes I've this is a great option to have for breakfast or lunch and fills you up. I also have noticed since drinking a protein shake daily my hair is healthier.
