I only take 2 of these twice a week since the recommended dose is only 100mcgs. I do not have heart problems at all. I am exercising now and wanted something to help with heart function. It also heps fight free radicals. I also take a prescript vitamin D right now and its a HIGH dose...so protecting my heart by taking these is what I decided to do. I had Few reasons to take these but have not had any side effects. Again I only take twice a week.
