Bought this as a Christmas (2013) gift for my mother she is very pleased with the function of it. She's been busy shredding and already has 1 bag. As with any shredder - to many papers it jams, paper jam was cleared easily by reversing and pulling out a couple sheets.

A Quiet Workhorse

Surprisingly quiet for a shredder. The paper makes more noise being shredded than the motor makes. I've already shredded a number of baskets full of of paper & it works smoothly & efficiently. I checked at least a dozen different sites, including office supply, discount, & many others for a decent quality shredder & this was THE best price of any reputable brand.
