Toasting appliance and microwave capabilities differ by manufacturer. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for safe use. Be sure your appliance is clean and functioning correctly. Children should always be closely supervised when operating toasting appliances and microwaves. Due to possible risk of fire, never leave your toasting appliance or microwave unattended. No Refrigeration Needed POP-TARTS® TOASTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove pastry from pouch. 2. Warm pastry in toasting appliance at lowest or lightest heat setting for one heating cycle only. 3. Cool briefly before carefully removing pastry from toasting appliance. POP-TARTS® MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove pastry from pouch. Place pastry on a microwave-safe plate. 2. Microwave on high for 3 seconds. 3. Cool briefly before handling. If pastry is overheated, frosting/filling can become extremely hot and could cause burns.

Still love my Pop Tarts!!
Even at my age, which is in the area of the "50's" something, I still love my Pop Tarts just w/out the frosting these day's every calorie counts hahaha!! They're even more delicious now than when I was a kid, I eat them straight out of the box, not toasted or heated in any way & they're just so good!

Sweet but not too sweet
Unfrosted strawberry Pop-Tarts is something I always make sure is in my pantry my grandson and I both love the strawberry flavor and not having frosting on top kind of makes it more like you're eating a pastry versus a desert. I just wish they would stop decrease in the size and add a little more filling to the pastry but I still enjoy the pastries just the same
