Nice quality and result

I received this in exchange for my review. Honestly, I'm impressed with the quality. I've tried a non kitchenaid attachment before and was not impressed. This, however, feels more like kitchenaid quality: a solid and sturdy attachment that fits well in my mixer. I didn't realize there were some recipes in the back of the instruction book, and I didn't have any store bought syrup, so I made 2 pucks (what they call the cups you freeze the liquid before shaving the ice), so I made my own. Juice, a little sugar water, and a half pack of lemonade drink mix (very tasty and full of flavor). Instructions were good, but i failed to see anything that said "remove the ice from the plastic mould"! So I was trying to put the puck in, still inside the container. This ice cup would not attach until I put only the ice in the ice cup. The result was a bowl of fluffy and soft shave ice. Not like a snowcone, but fluffy soft. I can't wait to try adding some milk into the recipe.

I am super excited about this little gadget. not only is my granddaughter going to love shaved icy's, but we're also going to use it to "play in the snow" and make tiny little snowman. she'll have fun coloring it with food coloring too. so many fun little projects, awesome little gadget. If you have a kitchen aid mixer, you need to get one of these attachments. i love that it comes with the little containers w/lids to freeze your ice in. perfect size for the shaver. and you can freeze coffee or juice as well. So yes, my granddaughter is going to love this thing as much as I do. can't wait for her next visit.
