Why is it hard to shop for trash cans?

Without going into the entire origin backstory, I never imagined trash can shopping would be as difficult as it is. So many crappy trash cans to choose from and if you want one that's a little nicer, those are usually just the same crappy trash can with stainless exterior and unnecessary bells and whistles at a higher price point. At long last, I've finally found a good one. I'm going to cherish it because I don't want to have to shop for a kitchen trash can ever again. It even came dented, but I don't care. It closes nicely, it's easy to wipe down, the inner can comes out, nice large pedal, and it holds trash. All I needed.

A very nice addition to my kitchen. Nice color to blend in well. I got the rose gold which is perfect with my mostly brown colored kitchen. I chose a bit lighter then the bronze and I am glad I did. It looks better with the lighter look. I have a great tip....if you do not like to CLUNK noise it makes when closing, I put a small piece of felt at the two ends in front on the top lip of the can and it is quiet now. Easy solution.
