Great tool for maintenance (80/20)

Excellent vacuum - saves me time and enjoyable to operate. We have 800 square feet in a dusty city, we have a dog who sheds so we need to vacuum at least 2-3 times per week. The Q7 does the perfect job on MOST of our floor so that I only have to do unreachable spots (I have a high-pile rug and some furniture that it can't get around). I run it 2-3 times a week and do my touch up (where it can't reach) 1 time per week. I estimate it saves me an hour a week and it's excellent at picking up all our hair (our dog's and our own). I don't have the automatic emptying bin - I empty it myself (every 3 runs or so / I have to rinse and dry the mop cloth anyway) rather than have a giant dock with disposable bags (not environmentally sustainable, custom/not universal bags, extra cost). Mop function is fine - I think it does a passable job, but since it takes the same cloth over the 500 wood floor with one pass only, I gather it's mainly just doing a superficial wipe - better than nothing; good to have but not the selling point for me and I would prob just do vacuum next time. App is relatively intuitive and makes the robot vac enjoyable to operate. My only complaint is the pin-and-go spot clean feature doesn't really work...

I cannot say enough good things about my Roborock vacuum — I absolutely love it! It has exceeded all my expectations and made keeping my home clean so much easier. The suction power is impressive, it navigates flawlessly, and the mapping features are incredibly accurate. I love how I can schedule cleanings from my phone and just let it do its thing while I go about my day. It picks up everything — dust, pet hair, crumbs — and leaves my floors spotless every single time. The battery life is great, the noise level is low, and the self-emptying feature (if yours has it) feels life-changing. I am extremely satisfied and honestly don't know how I lived without it. If you're thinking about getting a Roborock, do it — you will love it just as much as I do!

I Came Back to Stay

I had a Roborock S5 for a number of years and just loved it. Last year we needed another vacuum for our house. I cheaped out and bought another brand. I was so disappointed. It got stuck constantly, did crazy things like spin around in circles, and almost never finished the whole house successfully. So this year I did the right thing and bought the Roborock Q7. I am so happy with this purchase. This vacuum works just as good as the S5, even better. It cleans the house in a logical order, never gets stuck, is easy to empty and maintain, and above all cleans the floors as well as a hand vacuum. I love this machine. I will never buy any other robot Vacuum than a Roborock again.
