Being someone with a medical condition that forces me to "not" eat Gluten my biggest sigh since 2022 has been baked goods. I'm not a big baker, okay I hate to bake lol, so finding this gluten free cake at Walmart was a game changer for me. Now let me explain, while I have been on the hunt for all Gluten Free alternatives to ALL things I ever ate and that other's eat, I'm very picky, I won't eat, or give a great review, simply I was thrilled to find something - it's either great or it's not. This cake is GREAT!!!!! To start, I only like buttercream frosting, unsure why, kind of addicted to it lol. This cake is smothered in buttercream frosting. I've been switching back and forth between their chocolate of this type and this vanilla/white and both are SO GOOD! I've tricked people eating it, with them having no idea it was GF. It's moist, fluffy, perfect texture, and oh my goshness SO GOOD! I alone I've been known to devour the entire cake within 2 or so days LOL - but there have been times that I had self control and let it last longer. The packaging is great and resealable and remains fresh once opened. Both this flavor the other are worth every penny! I'm so thankful to Walmart for starting to add in gluten free baked goods, we need more! If you eat GF or not, this cake is an absolute show stopper of a cake and worth buying, eating, or if you're like me, devouring lol. Highly recommend.

Had it for birthday party. 7 people so stacked two together. Then cover joint with icing from the bottom one. Looked great. Tasted great. One of the best cakes I ever had. Lots of sugar, but it was a birthday party so didn't care. And it was gluten free. Will definitely get agian.
