I was skeptical at first. After all, it is pretty small. But the saying goes, "it's not the size of the dog, it's the size of the bite in the dog"! This machine is great! I've been washing dishes by hand for over 12 years in my small apartment. This was becoming extremely time consuming and frustrating. I decided to give this a try. I'm very impressed thus far. In short, this little dishwasher has been a Godsend. You can get more in it than you'd think. I'm surprised by how quiet it is. I have hard water so, I plan on doing a quick descale cleaning once a month. I've also been checking the filter for debris every week or so. Also, to keep the dishes from getting hard water spots, I just use a few drops of liquid rinse agent on the rinse cycle, and the dishes come out spotless! I really hope this dishwasher lasts. One feature I like is that you can hook up the water hose to the sink faucet, or you can skip that and just pour the water in the top of the unit without the hose hook-up. The water can be room temp or cold. The dishwasher heats up the water for you. The "Dry" feature is a wonderful addition to the regular drying cycle. When the "Dry" feature is pressed at any time during the washing or drying cycle, the unit, after drying, will continue to "air out" the unit to keep dishes fresh. I use this if I'm doing a wash late into the evening, and don't take the dishes out till the morning. Last item, is that it comes with everything you need to run the unit. Hoses, clamps, fruit basket, and even the little pitcher for pouring the water into it. Time will tell, but so far, it has exceeded my expectations. Especially for apartment dwellers without a dishwasher, this will save you some time and hassle. Great value for the money!

My family and I have washed dishes by hand in our home for the past 8 years. It was miserable, time consuming, a waste in water and power. I really hope it last a long time because ever since we got it, dishes take only 5 mins to set up and go, saved big time on water and power.. More time with my family, no more misery.
