I recently switched from the fabric liner to this and am so happy! The fabric curtain always wanted to start mildew and would stink if I didn't wash it every few days. After putting this in it's much quicker and easier to just wipe down. On another note this does have three weights in the bottom to hold it in place so no shower curtain sticking to you!
