4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

Microwave instructions:

1. In a 2 1/2-quart microwavable bowl or casserole, crumble 1 pound of ground beef.

3. Mix in uncooked pasta, sauce mix, 1 cup milk and 2 1/2 cups hot water.
4. Microwave uncovered on high for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes until pasta is tender. (Sauce will thicken as it stands).
