I often try other brands that are "equivalent" to the Homes are available at local stores, and always disappointed. It seems they never deliver the same amount of moisture as my Holmes humidifier has to run almost constantly with these other brands. I always end up going back to ordering the Holmes filters, even if it means ordering on-line.
