The options the lid gives are perfect!!!!! One button opens to an opening perfect for warm drinks like coffee. Pushing the attachment for the straw makes drinking the cold beverages so convenient! My water stayed cold even when forgotten in the car in Texas for hours. If you're on the fence about buying this.... buy it! And they make amazing gifts! I'm putting several in stockings this Christmas!
