Conair Extreme Steam 1550W Super Steam Fabric Iron, Nano Titanium Soleplate, Model GI100

This is a wonderful iron-odd to say that, but when you do a good amount of it, you appreciate the features that make it easier. It is lightweight, easy to hold & a cool looking design. That said, it works beautifully. It glides easily over fabric & the ability to push for more steam is easy to use & powerful. the reservoir to fill it up is easy to use & holds a lot of water. The controls are easy to read and their placement is simple to read from all angles. It's so lightweight, yet it delivers more than its heavier predecessors. It rests nicely in an upright position & the handle is coated so you can get a good grip on it easily. The cord follows the design nicely & doesn't get tangled up. The auto shut off feature is a safety must! I also really like the sharp point it comes to at the top, making it super to get into pleats & creases without creating more. Also terrific for ironing in between buttons and other details on a garment.

The first thing I noticed while removing the "Conair Extreme Steam 1550W Super Steam Iron" from the box, was it has a long pointed tip, it makes nice crisp pleats, cuffs, and collars, plus it fits easily between buttons. It has a Nano Titanium soleplate, it glides smoothly across your clothing, and offers even heat distribution, anti-calcium, and corrosion resistance. The self-cleaning feature remove's impurities from inside the iron, so small particles of gunk do not smear onto your clothing, leaving stains (instructions are included for this feature). The temperature light shows its ready for use. There are three ways to use the Conair Extreme Steam Iron, 1.plain water for damp ironing to ease out tough wrinkles that was maybe left in the dryer too long after it's cycle, 2. Steam for soft and delicate fabrics like silk, satin, polyester and jersey, or 3. Just plain dry ironing for cuffs, and pleats. The Steam feature has 21 holes, and a 3 hole triangle at the tip, more holes than some other irons, thus providing 27% more steam, (less time on ironing clothes, more time for other things), can be used vertical or horizontal. This Model, the GI100 uses 1550 Watts, has auto shutoff features, and easily adjusts to all fabrics, the Titanium Soleplate, has a multi color tint.
