My cats are extremely picky, some eldery with few teeth. Everyone ate this flavor. It was soft with small soft pieces in the pate but barely distinguishable, akin to kind of clam chowder. My cats lick gravy but leave pieces, while pate, if not soft enough, gets left behind. This was perfectly juicy and filling with small soft clumps - idk how to describe it, but it was perfect. I've been through soooo many brands and flavors. im sure this will have to be in a rotation, but i found something all 8 cats, adults n seniors, completely finished. Finally, it didn't smell bad and looked like very high quality. perfect consistency. The chicken pate was not as highly loved but almost every cat like it. Chicken was compact pate, still soft but not as juicy. Happy with purchases. will buy again
