BALL/KERR LIDS FOR SAFE CANNING
"Ball" is the ONLY brand I will use for pressure canning! I don't take chances that my hard work and food in my jars lose their seal. That's dangerous. Off brands are ok for "dry canning" like putting dry goods into a Mason jar with oxygen absorbers. Summary: Ball/Kerr is the best way to go for a secure seal when canning.

Secure closure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very simple packaging and a great value. They have lasted us a while. We use these to seal our jars for overnight oats for the week. I would say hand wash them and let them air dry or they will rust. My husband washed them for me in the dishwater so glad I got this to replace my other ones.

Love these lids!

I use them when I'm fermenting and canning, and for storing my dried fruit products in the pantry too. They are durable, and the wide mouth makes it easy to use the jars. There's so much you can use these jars and lids for, it should definitely be a staple in every kitchen! They stack great, don't easily break, and keeps your product staying fresh and top quality. The seal is great. I always trust all products by Ball!
