The knives feel sturdy, not lightweight, which I like. They came with very sharp blades but seem to have dulled somewhat in the past few weeks with very light use. I know I can use the the included sharpener, just haven't yet. I am only hand-washing them, not putting them in the dishwasher.

Great butcher block set for the price!

Definitely high quality knives. The blades are extremely sharp. While the price is good, the savings that is shown and the MSRP is over inflated. I have found this exact set online, since buying for the exact price as the “sale” and even $5 cheaper. Nowhere for the MSRP. So if you're thinking of reselling, don't bother but for personal use or for a gift; you are definitely getting a superior quality knife for a great deal. I have bought many brands as gifts and my favorite had been Kitchen Aid but these are definitely a step ahead or at least comparable. You won't be disappointed for the price! I forgot to mention they're absolutely beautiful, as well!
