I have PTT and I was first in the Active Ankle with my Orthotics. I went on to wear a Arizona Ankle Brace and this is for Life. I got this to replace the one I got from the Doctor. I wanted this one to use in different shoes so I can go to special occasions (I'm a Girl) and not have to wear that Bulky Brace that only fits in my Bulky Stiff Sole Running Shoes. I Need the Ankle Support because if I Roll this Ankle One More Time or anything of sort, that's It For Me. This really helps me stay stable when I'm not in the Arizona Ankle Brace.
