Unlike any other teas I've had
The flavor of this tea is quite nice. I usually boil a pot and leave a few tablespoons of the leaves to steep overnight. Any time I feel my lungs start to get inflamed, I have a cup of mullein tea, and I think it really helps. The smell of this tea is something unique, similar to green tea in both aroma and appearance, but floral and vaguely sweet. I normally drink the tea without milk or sweetener, but on days where I'm not just drinking it for the health benefits, honey makes this tea a lovely way to enjoy an evening. I have heard that Mullein's fine hairs on the leaves can irritate the skin, and in the case of using it as tea, the throat and sometimes stomach, I personally cannot confirm this, as my preferred method of brewing this tea utilizes a French Press, so it does the straining for me.
