1st, I am still struggling to regain the ability to walk so I really wanted the 5 gallon bucket with the handle to drag it into my house. Instead, I get this flimsy box with the slippery bag like animal feed comes in. I expected rice of the quality of Lundberg and instead I got Mahatma type rice. But the worst thing was, I had to cook it and cook it and cook it and then I put it in another pan and I cooked it some more. I cooked it with two roasts to make sure it tasted good and then I had to add many tablespoons of beyond bouillon to get any taste into it. Then the texture was still terrible so I added butter and finally we each had to microwave our portions with extra water on it. Then, after all that work, it still didn't taste very good at all. Just sort of like soggy tissue that faintly tasted like a little bit of beef flavor. It was the worst rice I think I've ever had in my life, and believe me, being a student with no money, I know what bad rice tastes with bullion tastes like! Even my dog looked at me like what is this mess? And having been taught to cook rice as one of my first recipes from Rosie, the best cook I've ever met, I know what good rice is supposed to taste like! 😝😝😝
