If you feel any discomfort, the tampon may not be far enough inside. Absorbency needs can change throughout your cycle, and it’s okay to try different absorbencies. Select the minimum absorbency needed to control your menstrual flow in order to reduce the risk of getting TSS. Remember to change your tampon every 4 to 8 hours.

There is no other brand that is better than OB. A few months ago it wasn't available so I bought a different brand. And I knew I would just never use any other brand again. OB is the best. No applicators (who really thinks they are necessary anyway?)

best brand to prevent leaks, no applicator waste
o.b. Original Tampon, Ultra, 40 count is applicator free. Better for the environment - single use applicators are not going into the trash. Since this tampon is applicator free it can be messier to use. The tampon is small and compact, and easily fits in a pocket. The tampons are individually shrink wrapped in plastic and the wrapper has a new design - twist off- grab each side and twist. The old wrappers had a tab in the middle that pulled from the end and sometimes they were difficult to remove. The box has been redesigned to be a different shape - now taller and thinner. The 40 count is nice to stock up for that time of the month. The design of the tampon works well to prevent leaks, as it conforms to your body. Ultra is the highest level of absorbency, for heavier flow. Would recommend.
