About 2 weeks ago I had to rush my dog to the Vet Emergency Hospital as he had collapsed and could not stand or sit and I thought he was going to die. He is a 8.5 year old Vizsla and just a few days prior had been fine and is in great health. No health issues of any kind. For years walking him people with other dogs 1-2 years old were not as healthy looking as my dog. So when he collapsed it was very unexpected. The vet said the sac around his heart was full of fluid and they needed to do a emergency procedure to drain it or he would likely soon die. The vet thinks the mass they found after draining the fluid (ended up being blood) in the sac around his heart is from him having hemangiosarcoma (a cancer of the blood vessels I think). She recommended this to try and stop it from bleeding again. She sold me one box and said to go to Walmart and order more as it would be more affordable. I ordered these and they took about 5 days to get to me. The Vet said to use 2 every 8 hours, but I did not read it right and so was only doing 1 every 8 hours for a few days. Yet, even with that lower amount, it appears to have worked. It took him a few days to start to regain strength and breath normal and poop more normal again. The Vet was not very optimistic I have much time left and that the mass will bleed again and become fatal. I started searching on Youtube for alternative holistic treatment options as I did not just want to give up on my dog. I ended up finding VeterinarySecrets account on YouTube and Dr Jones has videos about dog cancers and so I added his protocol as he also recommended this medicine. I also put my dog on a hamburger and cooked berries and peas diet and took him off Kibble. So far my dog's energy levels are soared and he has no signs of any health issues now. The mass is likely still on or around his heart and so I do not let him run and do not play a lot with him running around. We still go on our walk each day. I am doing the treatment protocol Dr Jones talked about for a month and then will have to figure out what is next. I plan to keep him on these pills as they do seem to have stopped the bleeding he was having inside. I have also been giving him Turkey Tail 500mg pills I get at Natural Grocers as they were the best price. I do not know if he will make it a year or two or just months, time will tell. But, he is doing great now and these Pills appear to have helped. The Vet said there was a chance the bleeding would not stop and he be gone within days after the ER visit.
