Feeling good about the install, my sister and I assembled and wall mounted it. The ambience of the room is so cozy now and I love all the features with the changing colors and flame height. It's very cool and has a cool setting. Provides good heat for my space but I leave it on without heat for the aesthetics. I'm so tickled with my purchase. Also, you don't have to use all the embers with the 36”. I think it's one bag for all sizes. Buy it and enjoy!

I am absolutely in love with this 42" MCQ electric fireplace. We set it up freestanding in our 350 sq ft open-concept living room and it looks stunning. Installation took only 15 minutes with just a screwdriver, and the recessed wall-mount option is ready whenever we want it. The flame effects are gorgeous with 12 colors, adjustable brightness and speed. The crystal logs look way more realistic than I expected at this price. We run it on flame-only mode almost every night for movies, and when we turn on the 1500W heat the entire room gets toasty in under 10 minutes. Perfect for Midwest winters! The 750W/1500W settings plus the 12-hour timer save a ton on the electric bill. Both the remote and touch screen work perfectly from anywhere on the couch. Only tiny nitpick, and it really is minor: the fan is slightly audible on high heat when the room is completely silent and the TV is off. Once any sound is playing you don't notice it at all, and it's still quieter than my old space heater. Build quality feels solid, no cheap smells, and the sleek black glass looks high-end. Friends keep asking where I got it. It has already paid for itself in cozy nights and lower heating bills. 100% recommend. If you're thinking about it, just buy it!
