I have not been worrying about taking this vitamin C. I was concerned about some of the others because I thought I'm not getting any good out of them. We're very little. Vitamin C is essential to take along with collagen and other skin supplement regimes including biotin supplementation. So far so good. I will be purchasing this product again and again. You don't need mega doses of vitamin C when you have a product that will absorb. You're getting a higher percentage of the 500 mg of vitamin C in this product. You don't need 2000 or 5000 mg of vitamin C to get the job done. One 500 mg caplet per day is all you need. If you don't need any megadoses of vitamin D, you have 1000 I use in this one. So you probably don't have to buy additional vitamin D unless your doctor or health professional recommends a higher dosage. I will update this recommendation after 90 days. So far I highly recommend this vitamin C. One capsule per day is all you need.
