Works great and stainless steel top is recommended by vets as it doesn't grow bacteria qickly and helps with cat's health. my cats have been drinking more water it was easy to assemble, easy to clean, and came with 4 or 5 replacement filters. Super impressed with this little guy! I initially bought this as a temporary one while I replace the pump on my giant 2 gallon fountain. But I'm very shocked at how well this one is doing! Super quiet, extremely easy to clean and put together, and it actually holds a lot more water than it looks like it would! Having a 55 pound dog, a 9 week old puppy %26 2 full grown cats, I only had to refill it once a day.
