Works in grey tank, not so much in black tank

I bought thins thinking it was for camper toilets and it is not. But too late, already put it in the toilet! It still does the job of fixing the smell but it definitely wears off quicker in the black tank. Thats how I fou d out it was for the grey tank. Is strong enough and works very well in the grey tank. Keeps the smell down for almost a week in the grey, and about 2 days in the black tank. I don't like the measuring and so I always just guesstimate.
