Preferred MethodRice Range Top Directions.What You Need2 Tablespoons of butter or margarine & 2 cups water1. In a large skillet, combine rice-vermicelli mix and butter or margarine. Saute over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.2. Slowly stir in water and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil.3. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. A thin layer of water (about 2 to 3 tablespoons) will remain at end of cook time.3 cups prepared. Enjoy! Microwave DirectionsIn 2-quart microwavable bowl, combine rice-vermicelli mix and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Microwave uncovered at High 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at High 12 more minutes or until vermicelli is golden brown. Remove and stir in 2 cups water and Special Seasonings. Microwave uncovered, at High 1821 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed.

Rice-A-Roni has saved me through a lot of nights when I was sick. I would recommend these because it's cheap easy. You can put it in the microwave and take it to your room and eat it and then go to sleep.

Quick and easy
This is actually pretty good, it's my first time eating rice like this. I could taste the whole periodic system in it, so it shouldn't be on the menu regularly but it's a quick and easy meal alternative. It has this cheesy mac%26cheese sauce flavor so if you like it you will enjoy it and if you don't then this is not for you. One star less because the cup should be a tiny bit bigger, it spills in the microwave if you go 1 cm above the line, it was dark and I did... 😅

The product is good. my only complaint is the instructions tell you to add water, stir, microwave uncovered. which left a big mess of boiled over cheesy water in my microwave.
