Preferred MethodRice Range Top Directions.What You Need2 Tablespoons of butter or margarine & 2 cups water1. In a large skillet, combine rice-vermicelli mix and butter or margarine. Saute over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.2. Slowly stir in water and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil.3. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. A thin layer of water (about 2 to 3 tablespoons) will remain at end of cook time.3 cups prepared. Enjoy! Microwave DirectionsIn 2-quart microwavable bowl, combine rice-vermicelli mix and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Microwave uncovered at High 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at High 12 more minutes or until vermicelli is golden brown. Remove and stir in 2 cups water and Special Seasonings. Microwave uncovered, at High 1821 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed.

I could taste the whole periodic system in it, so it shouldn't be on the menu regularly but it's a quick and easy meal alternative. It has this cheesy mac%26cheese sauce flavor so if you like it you will enjoy it and if you don't then this is not for you. One star less because the cup should be a tiny bit bigger, it spills in the microwave if you go 1 cm above the line, it was dark and I did... 😅

The product is good. my only complaint is the instructions tell you to add water, stir, microwave uncovered. which left a big mess of boiled over cheesy water in my microwave.
