Works Good!

It paired to my phone right away, but since my wifi is weak in the backyard, sometimes I loose connection of streaming music on youtube through my phone, no fault of the Speaker, as I am happy with the Aiwa Exos-5 Speaker. My main reason for buying it was streaming music from either Youtube or Pandora, which it does satisfactory.

More than adequate

In short: good sound, looks sharp, good battery life. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one! I bought this speaker on sale It was an excellent buy. I have several wireless speakers. This Aiwa Exos 5 is not the loudest, but it is plenty loud enough. I no longer buy wireless speakers without an auxiliary input. I had one that lost its ability to connect via Bluetooth, and because it did not have an aux input, it became an expensive paperweight. This speaker does indeed have an aux input. The sound is very good , helped by bass ports located on the rear of the unit. When I brought it home, I fully charged the unit with the included AC adapter BEFORE using it (as you should do with any new rechargeable battery) It took a few hours to get fully charged. the yellow light on the back turns off when full charge is reached. It has a built in FM radio and a detachable FM antenna. Surprisingly, I was able to pick up some local FM stations without the antenna. The FM radio %26 the aux input both produced pretty good sound quality. There are FM presets that I have not yet quite figured out. I have not used the usb port to play music so I cannot comment on that regarding sound or ease of use. The unit also has a clock that is easy to set, but I cannot get the clock display to stay on while playing music. - the instructions are quite sparse. There is a slightly uncomfortable built in handle so you can carry the five pound Exos 5 from one room to another It also includes a little remote which makes some functions easier to use. It is a little hard to see the front display while using the buttons on top of the unit The display itself looks nice and there are accent lights on the top %26 bottom of the unit. On my initial use, the fully charged battery lasted well over six hours. I recharged it and again it lasted over six hours. This is an excellent speaker probably best used on a shel or tabletop. I'm not sure I would use it outdoors very much.

Excellent, convenient, easy to use, and robust

Excellent and easy to use with the Bluetooth connection. Connection worked consistently every time. Sound quality was crisp and clear for the price of the device. Of course, you cannot compare it to a $300 system, but this one worked well for a regular sized room with streaming via BT flawlessly. Design kind of looked nice as well for a small bookshelf system. While it sounded real nice with classical music or soft rock, it is not intended for deep bass dance music at high volume. With deep base and high volume music, you need a bigger or much more expensive system.
