Runs cooler than its SK Hynix P41 Platinum sibling

This single-sided drive replaced the SK Hynix p4i Platinum that crumped after a month of use; that drive was sent back to Amazon for a refund instead of a replacement. This one is supposed to have the same innards as the SK Hynix, but it runs cooler right off. The Drive Manager tool on SK Hynix was reporting temps in low 50s at idle, whereas the Synergy toolkit reports temps around 44–46 °C at idle. Only time will tell about its reliability. This is used in a Lenovo laptop.

Best drive out there for the price per GB.

One of, if not the fastest Gen4 drive out there if you pair it with the Solidigm Driver. While it doesn't have the name recognition, it's the former Intel SSD division being run by SK Hynix, the premiere manufacturers of ram and solid-state drives. Great benchmarks, but more importantly it delivers in the real world and when you can catch it, amazing prices.
