I still have my childhood metal loom from the 1960's, so was able to compare this new one I got to teach my granddaughters how to make potholders. This new one is of a similar weight to my old one, but the prongs are tilted out a bit differently—But I LOVE IT BETTER than MY OLD ONE, as the loops stay on the prongs much better, especially when braiding the edges. This is the 2nd one I've bought!

I have used these for many yrs. when I was young. Decided to take unwearable winter clothes and make them into potholders and then turn into blankets for homeless animals or something. This weaver is all metal and comes with a hook to help make potholders. Comes with enough looms to make 2 potholders.
