Great size for baked goods

These half gallon Ziploc freezer bags were initially purchased by mistake. Rather than returning them, they sat in the pantry for awhile until I rediscovered them needing a freezer bag for a 1 pound loaf of bread I had baked. Since I always bake 2 one pound loaves of bread at a time, one is for the week and the other goes into the freezer. Turns out, these bags fit one loaf perfectly! It also works well for quick breads and a half loaf of my round rustic breads.
