Taste just like coffee. Smells like it too. My husband can't have coffee/caffeine and this is a great alternative to coffee. It is a bit expensive but I think it's worth it. Haven't had it too long and he drinks a cup every morning, so we are going to see how long it lasts :). I have tried it myself and I personally enjoy how it have a bit of what I would describe as froth when you mix it with which again I enjoy it. Definitely will buy again when we get low!!
