Love this blanket!

I've been looking for a ultralight blanket and ordered this on a chance. It is ultra soft and looks to be made of 3 layers of gauzy material. I believe it will get softer every time it is washed. Some reviews said that the blanket was not good quality and that it snags a lot, but that's not true in my case. It washes up nicely if you wash it according to the manufacturers directions. After taking it out of the dryer, it had not shrunk at all. Do not dry this on high heat if you want the blanket to remain in its original configuration. It's not going to hold up to high heat in the dryer or hot water in the washer. That being said, the blanket I purchased seems to be well made and the seams are done well. think that it's going to be around our house for many years.
