Nice set of measuring cups
I was going to buy Pyrex but the amazon.com reviews for these Anchor-Hocking measuring cups appeared to be every bit as good as those for Pyrex, if not better. Some people commented highly about the fact that these cups are easier to read, they have multiple measuring scales on both sides, and they do not drip when pouring. So given the fact that this set of three was cheaper than two corresponding Pyrex cups, and that I will probably put all three to good use for many years, I decided to try the Anchor-Hocking cups instead of Pyrex. I had concerns that one or more of these cups would arrive broken since Anchor-Hocking had apparently has some serious problems with packing in the past. However, I can assure you that if they pack yours the way they packed mine all three cups will arrive in perfect condition. Not only are they nested together tightly with heavy cardboard squeezed in between them to prevent any lateral movement between cups, but the cardboard is cut in such a way that the cups cannot rotate and possibly hit the handles together. What's more, the inside box in which the cups are packed for retail is packed inside yet another cardboard box for shipping. The inner box is completely surrounded by large bubble wrap and placed snugly inside the heavy-duty triple-walled outer cardboard shipping box. It is thoroughly amazing how much thought seems to have been given to packing of these cups for common carrier shipping! I have not used the cups much yet, but I expect them to last me for the rest of my life, barring accidental breakage of course. And it seems that Anchor-Hocking has actually learned its lesson in terms of properly packing this set to protect against breakage. They may have had breakage problems during shipping in the past, but I cannot imagine this any more with the exceptional way they are now packing these cups. Great purchase, great packing, great price, and free site-to-store shipping by Walmart. I am an exceptionally satisfied customer! Hopefully the cups themselves will not cause me to change my mind some time in the future, but "so far so good" ... :)

I love these deep pyrex measuring cups. I bought this to replace the one I have had for over 20 years. These seem lighter weight; but stronger than the older glass version...a composite type glass. They are nice and deep and less easy to spill than the old kind. The small is just right to heat my tea water; the big one is great for mixing things like cream cheese and sugar mixes. Great value...I really love pyrex.
