This is the best bang-for-buck on the market. It's also the cheapest 4070. It's a $700 GPU for the price of a $150 GPU. Connectivity is a pain point but USB-C 3.2 is 40 GB/s, so play around that with hubs and docking stations. Charges off of fast phone chargers. Great high refresh rate display. Liked this laptop so much I bought a second for my girlfriend.

i bought this laptop as a mobile video editing workstation and it works great for that using davinci resolve. i also game on it occasionally but this has no built in graphics so it uses the dedicated gpu battery life drains quickly its a good idea to keep ot plughed in or keep the charger close and ready for gaming sessions

Very nice laptop.

I've never owned a gaming laptop. I never needed one. This seemed like a great buy so I grabbed it. I pulled out the ssd and put in a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro ssd without the heatsink as my Windows drive. I also put in a second matching ssd as my storage drive. I installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 and just the programs I wanted. Lenovo has had several firmware updates since I received it. I've done all the updates. I did replace the memory with 32gb of ddr5 5600mhz. Unfortunately the laptop only allows 4800mhz. This laptop comes with the 230watt charger. The laptop plays any game I've tried. Very powerful. There is no integrated gpu so the RTX 4070 is always your main gpu. You pretty much need it plugged in always while gaming. I knew that and am fine with that. Keep it elevated for proper airflow. I realize I put extra money into this laptop that might not have been needed but I wanted to max it out.
