Hi! Repeating this review because I am buying these bars again and again and they are saving my life :) Here is my bag stocked with them!I wanted to share my story with you. This year I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis (Anti GAD 65 aka Stiff Person Syndrome, an autoimmune disease causing seizures and spasms). I have a neurologist treating me medically but I don't want to be on medication for the rest of my life. But there is “no cure and no cause” for Stiff Person Syndrome. I called around the state, and to some trusted doctors through my family around the country, and no one would take me on due to the risks involved. Most people with my condition end up giving up, going on disability. Seizures can cause brain damage over time over 2 seizures per week. For the first 4 months I was having 25 per month and refusing to quit working due to my dedication to volunteer work to help others in the community. So I did my own research and refused to give up. It's been a long year, and a lot of research because I am no biologist or medical expert, but I am determined. So (behind my neurologists back since she told me not to do or take anything!) I have found some underlying stresses in the body and started taking a LOT of supplements to help heal the body at a cellular level. It's complicated and I don't even know if I fully understand everything as it's been a lot of research and notes to get here.But part of it is that I decided to cut from my diet gluten, dairy, a ton of other things which seemed to help a lot. I've learned about how to help repair mitochondria and clean out bad mitochondria (parts of cells) and thus help my condition. I won't go into all the details but your bars have been a stable thing for me for the past few months. Every ingredient is essential. Since cutting gluten, carbs, dairy etc from my diet, these really help when I need a pick me up. All your ingredients are good for helping the brain heal, all with only 1g of sugar! And I have tried other bars on the market and they just don't work the same and honestly don't taste as good! I wake up in the middle of the night with protein deficiency due to my body working hard to heal itself, and if I don't have protein, I end up having a seizure or two 80% of the time. If I have one of your bars (or two if I didn't have a big dinner), I survive the night without seizures! Once I discovered this, I started buying the buys regularly. I buy enough to have 2 per night available. I tried other brands but they just didn't work 100% of the time like yours. I had started with the variety pack on Amazon, and was sold right away. Then bought more. Then I was sold so well that I saved up to buy the subscribe and save on your website. I am a volunteer in educating children on the harmful effects of drug abuse, natural disasters and more, so I have to save up for next subscribe and save which I definitely will! Otherwise I'd buy these much more often! But I just got my mom hooked on these who is on a Keto diet, and about to make my brother also start getting them who needs to get onto a diet. I think your bars are best on the market at the best price. I am sold and will not be going to any other bar unless ingredients or cost changes. Your bars are part of my recovery routine, along with many supplements...but that's better than increasing my medication! and my neurologist still does not know my routine! haha she would hate me for going behind her back.
